The death has occurred of
BREDA O’KEEFFE
(née Walsh)
BREDA O'KEEFFE (née Walsh) Mulloch Road, Garryvoe & Ballydesmond, Cork. On August 25th 2025, peacefully in the presence of her family and in the excellent care of the staff of the Cork University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Patrick, loving mother of Grace, daughter of the late Kathleen and Bob Walsh and doting Grandmother of Páidí. Sadly missed also by Grace's partner Dave (Jermyn), brothers Dan, Jimmy, Willie, Timmy, Jerry and Johnny, sisters-in-law Margaret (Holland), Helen (Mc Carthy), Katie, Anne, Betty, Mina, Mary (remembering the late Cora), brother-in-law Eamon, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
A heartfelt mention to all the amazing carers, especially Jenny and Aoife, for the outstanding service provided over the years.
May Breda rest in peace.
No flowers. Donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice, Cork after the great care shown to Breda in respite in previous years.
HOUSE STRICTLY PRIVATE.
Breda will repose at Hyde's Funeral Home, Drury's Avenue, Midleton P25VW02 on Wednesday 27th from 5:00pm to 6:30pm, immediately followed by reception into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Shanagarry.
Requiem Mass on Thursday 28th at 2:30pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Shanagarry followed by burial in Kilmahon Cemetery, Shanagarry.
