The death has occurred of Breda Sweeney (née Hickey), Drumlease, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim, January 4th 2026, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Maurice and Nellie, brothers Jim, Dick and John.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband Tommie, sons Eoghan and Tomás, sister Ann, her beloved grandchildren Méabh, Helen, Niall, Anna, Tom and Patrick, daughters-in-law Josephine and Niamh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Fowley’s Funeral Home Dromahair (F91 VC52) on Monday 5th January from 5pm to 8pm concluding with prayers.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday 6th in St. Patrick’s Church, Dromahair at 12:30pm.
Burial afterwards at Creevelea Abbey New Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to North West Hospice Sligo.
