BREEGE WALSH (née Flynn) of The Grove, Tuogh, Adare, Co. Limerick and formerly of Castlerea, Co. Roscommon.

Breege, pre-deceased by her beloved husband Tom, and treasured mother of Ashling, Karen and Garret and loving sister of Marie McSharry, passed away on 5 January 2025 peacefully (yet unexpectedly) surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the doctors and nurses at Cork University Hospital. Breege was also pre-deceased by her parents, Dominic and Peg, her brothers John and Dominic, her mother-in-law, Margaret Walsh (Nana) and her brothers -in-law, Patsy and Christopher.

Breege will be dearly missed by her three children, sister, sons-in-law, Kevin and Paul, sisters-in-law, Mary Gannon, Mary Walsh and Kathleen Walsh, brothers-in-law, Micheal and Mattie and her adored grandchildren, Ellie, Serena, Evan and Olan, nephews, nieces, cousins, especially, Mary, Delia, Ann and Noreen, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of cherished friends.

Reposing at the Holy Trinity Abbey Church, Adare, Co. Limerick on Wednesday, 8 January 2025 from 5pm to 6.30pm.

Requiem Mass at 12 Noon on Thursday, 9 January 2025 with burial afterwards at St Nicholas’ Cemetery, Adare.
