Breige Dixon
(née Gordon)

102 St. Nicholas Avenue, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully at home after been cared by her loving family. Founder of the Dundalk Set Dancers, former member of the Ladies committees of Clan Na Gael, CBSI (Scouting Ireland) and De La Salle School.

 

Beloved wife and best friend to Willie and adored mother of Elizabeth (Tumulty), Sean, Peter, Helena (Roddy) and the late Liam. Predeceased by her dear son, son-in-law Ken, parents Jim & Ena, brothers Eamonn & Seamus. Breige’s generous spirit and commitment to others will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband, daughters, sons, son-in-law Pat Roddy, daughter-in-law Fiona, cherished grandchildren Gerard, Jason, Liam, Shane, Aoibheann, Liam, Oísin, Cíllian, Hayley, Daragh, Maia and Eoghan, doting great grandchildren Ryan, Conor, Sophia, Jayde, Jason, Claudia and Evia, sisters Annette & Ena, brother Sean, sisters-in-law Lily & Carmel, nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful friends & neighbours and the many lives that she touched.

Reposing at her home on Friday between 12 o’clock and 8 o’clock. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.40 (walking) to St. Nicholas' Church, Dundalk arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock. Thereafter Breige will be laid to rest with her dear son Liam in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

St. Francis Hospice, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, The palliative care team and the staff at Byrnes Late Night Pharmacy. “Thank You”
