HANNIGAN Brendan (Ben) (Late Belvedere Road, NCR, Dublin 1, former player with Shelbourne FC, Dundalk FC and Shamrock Rovers FC) February 4th 2021. Peacefully after a long illness in the loving care of his family and the staff of Shrewsbury Nursing Home, Clonliffe Road. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen and loving father of Keith, Trevor and Kim. Sadly missed by his sons, daughter, grandchildren Faela, Conall, Ben, Rose, Katie, Sofia, Alex and Emily, in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and the wider League of Ireland football community.

Due to government Covid-19 advice regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place but the Funeral Mass can be viewed online at 11am on Tuesday, February 9th, at https://gardinerstparish.ie/live-video/, followed by a private burial.  Those who wish to, may leave a message of condolence in the “Condolences” section below on this www.rip.ie page.  Family flowers only please.
