The death has occurred of
Brendan Burke
On October 14th 2023, Brendan passed peacefully, with his family by his side, in the wonderful care of the staff at the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork. Beloved husband of Ann, loving dad of Seamus, Caroline, Colette, Siobhán, Brendan (Jnr), Diane, Daniel and the late Rosemarie, son of the late Jim and Mary, brother of Noreen, Kathleen, Mary, Siobhan, Eileen, Tony, Ann, Johnny, Paddy, Joe and Claire. Sadly missed by his loving family, his 17 adoring grandchildren, daughters-in-law Mary and Diana, sons-in-law Adrian, Denis, John, Gene and Pat, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, kind neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakley's Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry, on Tuesday, Oct. 17th, from 6pm to 8pm with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, Oct. 18th, at 12 noon at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (to view live stream click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery.
