The death has occurred suddenly, in his 73rd year, of Brendan Callaghan, The Schooner, Alverno, Castle Avenue, Clontarf and late of Togher, Co. Louth. Brendan, beloved son of the late James and Maureen (née McCabe). Predeceased by his brother Paddy. Sadly missed by his brother Peter, sisters-in-law Serena and Jill, nephews James and Robert, nieces Laura, Darina and Linda, his 4 grandnephews and 2 grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (Eircode A92 V38H) on Thursday from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10.30am to Saint Mary's Church, Kilsaran, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, which can be viewed live at https://churchmedia.tv/kilsaran. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
