Formerly of Currabell, Dunmore
On February 23rd, Brendan completed his life's journey in his 68th year, with dearly loved family members by his side. He died peacefully, having received excellent care from the Galway Hospice Team, the Oncology Team, The Shannon Ward and the ICU Team at Galway University Hospital. Predeceased by his father, Paddy, and more recently by his mother Teresa.
Deeply mourned by his wife Teresa, son Barry (Australia) and daughter Ellen, by Barry's fiancée Filipa, by Ellen's fiancée Niall, and by his adored grandson Cillian who brought him so much joy. Sadly, missed also by his brothers and sisters: Seán, Ann Marie, Kieran, J.J., Ronnie and Teresa, Aunt Gretta, the extended Comer and Kerins family, neighbours and friends.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
