Brendan DEVITT

Brendan Devitt of Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away suddenly, doing what he enjoyed most, on Friday, 13th August, 2021, to the inexpressible grief of his loving family. Beloved eldest son of Evelyn and the late Tony Devitt, much loved husband of Julie, devoted father of Melissa, Kevin and Brendan and grandfather of Lola and Thea. Brendan will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, Melissa’s partner Dean, Brendan’s wife Leila, brothers Robert and Noel, sisters Sandra and Ann, mother-in-law Brigid Hannon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Brendan’s cortege will leave from his home on Thursday morning (Aug.19) at 9.30am, walking to St. Peter’s Church, Little Bray, arriving for Funeral Mass (limited to 50 people) at 10.00am, which may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/braystpeters.

The burial, in Shanganagh Cemetery will take place following the funeral mass at 11.30am approx. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Bray Cardiac First Responders www.braycfr.ie. Messages of comfort and support may be placed in the “Condolences” section below.
