Brendan Foreman
Brendan Foreman (Harold’s Cross and The Village Bookshop, Terenure) 2nd March 2026. Bookseller, graphic designer, publisher and record producer. Peacefully following a short illness, under the wonderful care of the staff at St. James’ Hospital and the exceptional and most tender care of Dr. Mark O’Kelly, Rialto Medical Centre. Predeceased by his sister Bairbre.
Dearly beloved husband of Alice. Loving and devoted father to Roger, Harry, Arthur and Oliver. Brendan will be very sadly and deeply missed by his heartbroken family, also his grandchildren Tadhg and Rían, daughter-in-law Ikumi and Roger’s partner Ger, his brother Declan, sisters Maeve and Deirdre, brothers-in-law Denis and Dermot, sisters-in-law Patricia and Sue, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, many friends and loyal customers from the village bookshop.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at his home on Thursday (March 5th) between 5pm and 7pm.
Removal on Friday morning to the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross for a Funeral Service at 10am, followed by burial at Mount Jerome Cemetery.
