Brendan Galligan

Brendan passed peacefully at home, after a short illness.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Connie, his son Colin and daughters Sarah and Karen, his daughter-in-law Nicola, son-in-law Brian, his adored granddaughters Grace and Blossom, grandsons Ben, Billy and Teddy, his sisters-in-law. brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his siblings Mary T, Bridie, Con, James and Thomas. Predeceased by his brother Peter and sister Sr. Margaret.

Brendan will be greatly missed by his former teaching colleagues at Coláiste Mhuire, his work colleagues at Mullingar Travel, and his friends in the Rotary Club, Mullingar.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home, Mullingar (N91 K660) on Tuesday 14 April 2026 from 3pm concluding with Prayers at 6pm and followed by Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30pm.

Brendan’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 15 April 2026 at 1.30pm and the Mass may be viewed on the live webcam on the link below. Burial afterwards in Walshestown Cemetery.
