Brendan Hackett

(Hacketstown, Co. Carlow and late of Coolgreaney, Gorey, Co. Wexford). (Brendan died peacefully on the 7th October 2025 in the care of the staff of Carnew Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family). Beloved husband of Imelda and loving father of Christine and the recently deceased David, brother of George, Rich, Bill, Alice, Dolly, Breda, Anne and the late Mick and Florrie. He will be very sadly missed by his wife, daughter, brothers, sisters, grandchildren Jack, Cian, Shane, Lauren and Emma. son-in-law Shane (Weekes), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Murphy's Funeral Home, The Avenue, Gorey (Y25 K122) on Wednesday 8th October from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Removal from Murphy's Funeral Home on Thursday 9th October at 10.45 a.m. to St. Brigid's Church, Hacketstown for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by Burial in Hacketstown Cemetery.
