Brendan Kiely

Brendan passed away, peacefully, on Sunday the 29th of June in Galway University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Throughout his illness, he met each day with quiet strength and unwavering dignity.

Predeceased by his brother Joseph, Brendan will be sadly missed by his wife Mary, daughter Brenda, sons Stephen, Damien, John and Gavin, son-in-law David, daughters-in-law Mary, Nicola, Francoise and Gabrielle, his adoring grandchildren, his brother Kevin and sister Genevieve, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, members of the extended family, neighbours and friends.

Brendan’s funeral cortège will arrive to St Brigid’s Church, Portumna on Wednesday 2nd July at 10:45am with Mass being celebrated at 11:00am. For those unable to attend, Mass will be live streamed on the following link: Brendan’s Mass

Funeral will continue to Shannon Crematorium afterwards for cremation service at 3 o'clock.
