Brendan Martin

The death has occurred of Brendan Martin, Drumarigna, Aughawillan, Co. Leitrim, Friday March 13th 2026, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

 

Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Maggie) and his sisters Marie Martin & Eileen Stephens (Wicklow).

 

He will be sadly missed by his son Patrick, daughter Ann Neary (Carrowmorris, Dromard, Co. Sligo), son-in-law Peter, grandsons Simon, Shane (Emily) & Aidan (Sarah), great-grandson Ross, his sister Kay Dolan, (Ballinamore), nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours & friends.

Reposing at Smith's Funeral Home, High St., Ballinamore, Co Leitrim N41 TD62 this Sunday afternoon from 4pm until 6pm.

 

Removal from his home on Monday 16th, arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Aughawillan for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
