It’s with great sadness that the family of Brendan McCann, Ahakista, Co. Cork and formerly of Tullamore, Co. Offaly announces the sad and sudden passing of Brendan at his residence on Sunday April 6th, 2025. Brendan is remembered with much love by his heartbroken family, his wife Margaret, his son Don, his daughter Leigh, his daughter-in-law Caroline, son-in-law Duncan and his adored grandchildren Alex, Izzy and Ben, his brothers John, Tom, Noel, Ger, Adrian and Michael, his sisters Kathleen, Carmel, Anne, Francie and Mary, sisters-in-law Margaret, Annmarie, Fiona, Geraldine, Yukika and Colleen, brothers-in-law Syl, Ritchie and Ambrose, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

 

“Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life”John 5:27,28

 

Brendan will repose at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry, Co. Cork P75YW58 on Wednesday the 9th of April from 7pm to 8pm.

The McCann family home will be private to family and friends on Friday 11th of April .

A service will take place in Brendan’s honour on Friday the 11th of April at 2pm at the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, P43DD71, (to view the service please click here), following the service you are welcome to join Brendan's family and friends for food and refreshments at the Stable Bar, Main Street, Kilmoney, Carrigaline, Co. Cork (link to directions).
