Brendan McEvoy

The death has occurred, in his 93rd year, of Brendan McEvoy, The Cottage, Mooremount and late of Upper Main Street, Dunleer, peacefully in the wonderful care of the doctors and staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family. Brendan, beloved husband of the late Bernadette (née Flynn) and loving father of Paul, Terry and Eilish (Byrne). Predeceased by his parents Michael and Elizabeth, sister Joan (Hodgins) and brother Kevin. Sadly missed by his sons, daughter, grandchildren Joseph, Terry, Krystal, Michael, Tara, Emmet, Sara and Shane, great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Alexandrea, son-in-law Patrick, daughters-in-law Pamela and Gillian, brothers-in-law Oliver and Franky, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (Eircode A92 V38H) on Tuesday from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to Saint Brigid’s Church, Dunleer arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am which can be viewed live at https://dunleerparish.ie/2015/06/st-brigids-church-tv/.

Burial afterwards in St. Denis’s Cemetery, Clogherhead.
