The death has occurred of
Brendan McGrath
McGrath (Blackrock & late of Cahir & Ardfinnan) On August 29th, 2025, peacefully, in the company of his family in the gentle care of the staff at Cork University Hospital. Brendan (Hop) (late of Henry Ford & Son) loving husband of the late Joan (née Kiely), cherished father of Nuala, Colm, Hughie, Rory, Cathal, Siobhán, Jim, Maeve and the late Brian and brother of Br.Michael and the late Teddy, Teresa (Fox) and Angela (Hughes).
Sadly missed by his family, his adoring grandchildren Aoife, Niamh, Matthew, Justin, Siobhán, Ellen, Chloe, Cillian, Sadbh, Aoibhínn, Róisín, Orlaith, Grace, Aoibh, Róise, Olivia and Kayleigh, his daughters in law Christine, Susan, Elaine, Ann Marie and Maeve, sons in-law David, John and Paul, nieces, nephews, relatives neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh.O’Connor Ltd; on Monday (September 1st) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Tuesday (September 2nd) in St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Marymount Hospital & Hospice.
The family wish to acknowledge the staff in both Cork University Hospital and Riverstick Nursing home for their kindness and care.
