Formerly of Ard-na-Greine, Ennis, Co. Clare.
Brendan, aged 91, passed away very peacefully after a long, happy life surrounded with love by his family on the 11th January 2026.
He was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Eileen, and by his siblings Bernadette, Kevin, Ethel and Marion.
Brendan was the beloved husband of Margaret (née Farrell) and a great dad to John, Eileen and Úna. He will be deeply missed by his wonderful grandchildren Catherine, Ruairi, Daniel, Rose and Tom and by his sons-in-law, Colum, Dominic and Ed. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, his nieces and nephews, a wide circle of cousins throughout Clare, his teaching colleagues and by his great friends and neighbours who brought such joy and support to him throughout his life.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Ennis, on Tuesday (13th January) from 5.30 pm until 7 pm. Arriving at Ennis Cathedral on Wednesday (14th January) for Funeral Mass at 11 am. Burial afterwards in Drumcliffe Cemetery.
