MURPHY, Foildarrig, Castletownbere, Co.Cork and formerly of Cahirkeem, Eyeries on the 13th August 2024 peacefully surrounded by his loving family under the excellent care of the staff of the G.B ward in Cork University Hospital, BRENDAN.

 

Beloved husband of Maureen and dear father of Noel, Neil, Claire and Ann.

 

Brother of the late Connie.

 

Greatly missed by his wife, children, daughter in law Marian, son in law Martin, beloved grandchildren Lauren, Sarah, Jack,

Tomás, Aidan, Eimear, Fiona and Clíodhna,

 

Sister Mary, brothers in law, sisters in law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

Reposing in Harringtons Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Friday (16th) from 5pm - 8pm followed by removal to Brendan’s home.

 

HOUSE PRIVATE.

Requiem mass will take place at 11am on Saturday (17th) in The Church of The Sacred Heart, Castletownbere followed by burial in Gortnabulliga Cemetery in Eyeries.

Funeral cortège will leave Brendan’s home at approximately 10.30am.

 

Brendan’s family would also like to thank the doctor’s and staff in the Haven Medical Centre, Castletownbere.

 

Family flowers only by request, donations if desired to Cancer Research.
