Brendan passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, in the care of the staff of Clarinbridge Care Centre on Saturday, 23rd September 2023.

Predeceased by his wife Ita (née Donohue), Duniry, Loughrea.

Brendan will be mourned and sadly missed by his sister Phyllis Conroy (Aglish, Co. Tipperary), brother Tony, sisters-in-law Chris Quirke and Carmel Clarke (Duniry), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

Brendan will lie in Repose in Áras Naofa in the ground of St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore on Wednesday, 27th September, from 5pm – 6.30pm. Removal to adjoining church.

Requiem Mass for Brendan in St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore on Thursday 28th September at 11.30am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in the New Cemetery, Bohermore, Galway.
