Brian Cantwell

Cantwell, Brian, late of Finglas and formerly of Chivers – 25th September 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the staff of Blanchardstown Hospital. Brian, loving and devoted dad of Bridget. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Sally.

 

He will be sadly and greatly missed by his daughter, brothers Tommy and Michael, sisters Marie, Imelda and Monica, cousins, brothers-in-law Dermot and Robert, sisters-in-law Anne and Mary, Bridget’s mother Margaret, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Church Street, Finglas (D11 P642) on Saturday (27th September) from 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm. Funeral on Monday morning (29th September) to St. Canice’s Church for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass followed by Burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, in lieu to the Irish Cancer Society or Lewy Body Ireland.

 

Brian’s family wish to sincerely thank the staff of Clearbrook Nursing Home for their care and kindness to Brian in recent times. Thanks also to the nurses and the staff of the Redwood Ward in Blanchardstown Hospital, and the staff in St. James's Hospital.
