Humble and honest, respected and loved by many, Brian Clohissey, a talented musician, artist and a great sparks, touched people's lives in ways that will be fondly remembered.

He passed peacefully in his sleep after a long and bravely borne illness on 20th January, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife Ger and his four children, Bronwyn, Julian, Gráinne and Brian and his eight grandchildren. He was the most loving husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather who will be missed beyond words.

The family are eternally grateful for the wonderful care and efforts of the staff at the Claddagh Ward, University Hospital Galway.

A witty, extraordinary character. A man of his word and of his principles, Brian donated his body to science in the hopes of helping others suffering from cancers.
