Brian Colgan

Colgan Brian J., Malahide, Co. Dublin and late of St. Sylvester’s GAA Club. 21st August 2025. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff in Beaumont Hospital and Mowlam Nursing Home, Swords. Beloved husband of Pauline and much loved Dad to Fintan, Matthew and Miriam. Brian will be missed by his wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law Andrew, daughter-in-law Emma, his adored grandchildren Charlotte, Alex, Brianna, Ben, Katie and Noah, brothers Donal, Sean, Patrick, sister Margaret, also remembering his late brothers Michael and Tony, his will be missed by his sisters-in-law Pauline, Mary and Olive, brother-in-law Richard and the late May, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

 

The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff in Mowlam Nursing home, Swords for their care and attention to Brian. We also would like to thank Professor Sherlock, the doctors and nurses of Beaumont Hospital for their empathy and kindness they showed him during his stay with them.

 

May He Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Monday, 25th August, from 3pm to 5pm. Removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seabury, Malahide on Tuesday morning for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Balgriffin cemetery.
