The death has occurred of Brian Connolly. Killark, Carrickmacross. 11th September 2021. Suddenly at his home. Predeceased by his parents Bernard & Bridget & recently by his brother-in-law Fr Aidan Mullan. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family, his wife Rosemary, his sister Martina (Foley, Ennis), his brothers-in-law Gerry, John, Dermot, Brendan & Kevin, his sister-in-law Monica, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

Brian will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Main Street, Carrickmacross, among his family & friends on Wednesday, 15th September, from 5pm until 7pm. Please continue to follow HSE & government guidelines, wear face masks & observe social distancing.

Brian's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church, Rock Chapel, Upper Magheracloone, on Thursday, 16th September, at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. In accordance with most recent guidelines the capacity of the Church is limited to 50%.

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects by lining the route, in a socially distanced manner, as Brian's funeral cortège leaves Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:25am via O'Neill St, Dundalk Rd, N2, turning right at Roe's Cross proceeding via Killark, the Priests Cross to St. Patrick's Church.
