Brian Glynn of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Portumna, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital on January 19th 2026.
Deeply beloved and devoted father of John, Ann Marie and Rosina, devoted husband of his late wife Maura, father-in-law of Angela, Grandad of Sam, Connie, Carrie, Brian and Eoin, and brother of Terry, Brendan and the late Aidan, Ciaran, Don, Des and Raymond; Brian will be remembered with love as a true gentleman, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
House private. Reposing at Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray on Thursday 22nd January from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday 23rd January at 10.00am in the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray, followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery.
Brian loved bright colors and so attendees are welcome to dress brightly if they wish, in celebration of his life; donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to UNICEF.
