The death has occurred of Brian Grieve, formerly of Clonee, Dublin and Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.

 

Brian passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on March 24th 2025, in the care of The Residence Nursing Home, Maynooth.

 

Beloved husband of the recently deceased Myra for over 60 years and loving father of Cathy, Seamus, Caroline, Maria, Mairead, Bernie,Dympna and the late Baby Brian (R.I.P.). He will be sadly missed by his devoted and loving children, daughter-in-law Martina, sons-in-law Gerry, Eamonn, Martin and Ray, his adored grandchildren Brian, Rebecca, Hannah, Natasha, Megan, Emer, Mia, Oran, Eamonn, Hayley, Molly, Zach, Dylan, Alex and Bradley and great-granddaughter Cora, his brothers Danny, James and Frank and his sister Bridie and all those who knew him. To know Brian was to love him.

Reposing at his daughter Caroline's residence in Carbury, Co. Kildare (W91 H52P) on Wednesday (March 26th) from 3-8pm. Removal on Thursday (March 27th) at 11am to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Straffan for 12 noon Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Laraghbryan Cemetery, Maynooth. Those who are unable to attend the funeral, please leave a personal message for the family in the condolences section below.
