Brian O'Connell
O’Connell, Brian (Raheny and late of Belvedere College) – January 7, 2019 (unexpectedly), beloved husband of the late Suzanne (née Sexton of Missouri, USA) and much loved father of Aisling and Etienne (Brian) and brother of the late Fr. Fergus; deeply loved and missed by his son, daughter, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Andrea, grandchildren Cillian, Carys, Sarah and Michael, brothers Ruary and Diarmuid, sister-in-law Michelle, O’Connell & Sexton nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, the wider family, kind neighbours, students and colleagues at Belvedere and a large circle of friends especially those in his Bridge clubs and stamp and Classical Associations.
Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Friday evening with family in attendance from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Requiem Mass on Saturday morning in Church of St. Francis Xavier, Gardiner Street at 11 o’clock. Funeral thereafter to Balgriffin Cemetery.
