On St. Stephen's Day, December 26, Brian died peacefully at University Hospital Galway, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his loving wife Maura, his parents Inez and Thomas and his sister Inez.

Sadly, missed and deeply mourned by his loving children Colm, Fionnuala, Bernard and Eoin, their partners Sharon, Andoni, Helen and Sarah-Jane, adored grandchildren Sara, Niamh, Seán, Liam, Benjamin and George, sisters Leonie and Eleanor, brothers Tom and Kieron, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Brian will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on New Years Eve, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. with Removal at 5:30 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Brian on Wednesday, New Years Day at 11 a.m. and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.
