Formerly of Vermont, Menlough, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.

On Friday, 9 August 2024, Bríd passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home and with her dearly loved son by her side.

Predeceased by her husband Tom, parents Paddy and Margaret and siblings Billy, Peter and Seán.

Sadly, missed and mourned by her devoted son Peter, sisters Mary and Anne and brother Paddy, nephews and nieces and their families, relatives, lovely neighbours and friends.

Bríd will repose at home on Thursday, 15 August from 5 p.m. with Removal at 7 p.m. from her home to St. Ignatius' Jesuit Church (The Jes), Sea Road. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Bríd on Friday, 16 August at 11 a.m. and following Mass she will be laid to rest with Tom in the new cemetery, Bohermore. This Mass will not be live streamed or recorded.
