The death has taken place of Brid Byrne (née Carr), Crove, Carrick, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her husband Josie, her son Neil, daughter Máire, and granddaughter Niamh.

She will be dearly missed by her son John (Rosemary), daughters Sorcha (Gerry), Noreen (Rory), Carmel, and Kathleen (Patrick); her beloved grandchildren Danielle, Natasha, Gráinne, Aoife, Róisín, Mairéad, Danny, Barry, and Darragh; sisters Tina and Eileen; brother-in-law Michael; extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at McCabe’s Funeral Home, Ardara (F94VCK1) from 2pm to 8pm on Thursday, 13th November, and at her residence (F94FK51) from 12pm to 10pm on Friday, 14th November.

Funeral from there on Saturday, 15th November, going to St. Patrick’s Church, Meenaneary, for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by burial afterwards in Kilcar Cemetery.
