Inis Mór, Árainn (Peacefully) in the care of St. Anthony's Ward, at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her husband Coley, parents Bartley and Barbara, brother William and sister Mary. RIP.
Bríd is sadly missed by her daughters Mary Anne and Angela, sons Micheal (Mick Conneely, Maree) and David. Fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Clare, Mary Anne's partner Colm, David's partner Geraldine and son-in-law Johnny. Dearly loved and missed by her grandchildren Lorraine and her husband Padraig Eanna, Alan and his wife Meg, Darren, Kealan, and his fiancé Fiona, Diarmuid, Eoghan, Ciara, Shauna, Leah, Avril, Brian and Leah, her great grandchildren Cleonna, Cian, Éabha, Lilly, Leon, Hailey, Éabha, Darragh and Róisín. Forever in the hearts of nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and the local community.
Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway, on Saturday, 26th February, from 3 p.m. with Removal at 4.30 p.m. to Rossaveal Harbour. The ferry will take Bríd on her final journey home to Ínis Mór at 6 p.m. House private on Saturday. Reposing at home on Sunday, 27th February from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Leaving from her home in Mainister on Monday morning to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in Séipéal Naomh Bríd agus Naomh Oilibhéar Pluincéad. Following Mass Bríd will be laid to rest in Reilig Chill Éinne.
