Bríd McDermott (née Cassidy) Ardsallagh, Roscommon Town. January 17th, 2026; surrounded by her family, in the devoted care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Home, Roscommon. Much loved wife of the late Pat. She will be very sadly missed by her daughters Mary, Rhona and Ann, son John, sister-in-law Josephine, sons-in-law Michael and Kevin, daughter-in-law Cara, her adored grandchildren Matthew, Dan, Kate, Luke, Callum, Rachel, Mark, Sean and Abby Mai, niece Anne-Marie, nephews David and Barry, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Bríd is predeceased by her parents John and Annie, sisters Mary, Peggy and Ann, and grandson Paul.

May She rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Sunday from 4 o’c followed by Removal at 5.30 o’c to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.

Our Mum lived a wonderful, happy life, thriving on good company and flowing conversation. Her garden of flowers and birds brought her great joy and above all, she adored her family, who adored her back and will miss her forever.
