Bríd Rogers
(née Kane)
ROGERS BRÍD (née Kane), (formerly of Stepaside and Coolock Dublin):On September 6th, 2025, passed away peacefully, after a long illness in the loving care of Beaumont Residential Care, Cork. During her lengthy battle she demonstrated extraordinary bravery and an unyielding dignity.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Liam, siblings Mary, Joseph, Corina & Eibhlís. Adored Mam of Melissa, Barra and Annie, she will be forever missed by them and her much loved grandchildren Sophie, Cuan, Fionn, Róisín, Órla, Lola and Edie, daughter in-law Olivia, sons in-law Thomas and Dermot, brothers Kevin, Liam, Brian & Denis, nieces, nephews, extended family and life long cherished friends.
Brid’s children would like to express their deepest gratitude to the wonderful nurses and careers in Beaumont Residential Care for their exceptional care over the past 8 years. Their dedication, kindness and warmth for Bríd went above & beyond their expectations and they will be forever grateful for this and the support they provided.
Bríd will be reposing at her daughter Annie’s home in Cork (eircode T12 EP9F) on Thursday (September 11th) from 5.00pm to 8.00pm.
A celebration of Bríd’s life will take place at 4.00pm on Friday (September 12th) at the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork (Eircode P43DD71) which will be live streamed
All those who knew Bríd and her family are warmly invited to attend.
