Bridget Anne Rooney
(née Patten)
ROONEY Bridget Anne (Nee Patten) RIP. ON THE 3rd March 2025 peacefully in hospital, Bridget aged 89 years of Heaton Moor Stockport and Formerly of Saula Achill Island, Co. Mayo. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Joseph, much loved mam of Patrick, Mary, Marcelle and the late Martin and Gina. Sister of Brian, Margaret, Theresa, Martha, Kathleen, Mary, Patrick, Joe and the late Sean, Micheal and Marty. A Devoted Granny to Kara, John, Colleen, Ciaran, Declan, Niamh and Martin and Great Granny to Callum, Grace and Mia. Bridget will be very sadly missed by her loving family and many friends.
Requiem Mass to take place at St Winifred’s Church, Heaton Mersey on Thursday 3rd April at 9.30am, followed by interment at Mill Lane Cemetery at 11.00am.
