Who passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Francis’s Ward Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway on Wednesday 4th February 2026.

In her 91st year.

 

Predeceased by her much-loved husband Mick.

 

Beda will be sadly missed by her loving children Sean, Brendan and Dolores, daughters-in-law Anna and Bridie, son-in-law Daragh, grandchildren Aisling, Colm, Brian, Hollie, Lara and Andrea, sister Moira, sisters-in-law Sheila and Margaret, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.

 

Beda will lie in repose in Kilboy’s funeral home (H62 KF63) on Sunday 8th February from 4- 6pm followed by removal to St. Brendan’s Church, Mullagh.

Beda’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Brendan’s Church Mullagh on Monday 9th February at 12 noon Followed by burial in Abbygormican Cemetery.

 

Beda’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to Nuala and Michael Cormican and staff at Hillside Nursing Home Aughrim for their wonderful care and to our extended family, neighbours & friends for all their kindness and help, at this very sad time.
