Bonny passed away peacefully in the presence of her daughter aged 94 years after suffering with dementia for many years. Beloved wife of the late Tony.

 

Bonny was born at Ballyhampshire Castlelyons in 1930 to the late William (Bronco) Buckley and Bridie (nee Cunningham), she is sister to the late Nora, Mary, Patey, Moss, Christina (Broderick) and Billy (Chieftain).

 

Bonny attended Castlelyons National School, at a young age she found employment in Fermoy from there she emigrated to England. She married Tony Pigott and they had twins Susan and Charles. Bonny was a regular visitor to Castlelyons especially while her parents and siblings were alive and continued to visit later years.

 

Bonny will be sadly missed by her daughter Susan, son Charles and their families, grandsons Oliver and Nicholas, granddaughters Eloise, Charlotte and Zoe and great grandchildren, Carson, Adley, Reggie, Isabella, Tova and CeCe her many nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.

 

May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face. The rains fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
