Bridget (Bride) Sorohan, (née O’Donnell) Gortnagross, Athea, Co. Limerick and formerly of The Hill, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the matron and staff at Beechwood House Nursing Home, Newcastle West, in the presence of her family, on Thursday, 3rd August 2023. Bride is very sadly missed by her loving husband John, sons Jimmy and John, daughter Janet, son-in-law Pete, daughter-in-law Claire, grandchildren Seán, Finlay and Phoebe, sister Nance (Woulfe), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, all her other relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale on Monday, 7th August from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Removal on Tuesday, 8th August to The Church of The Assumption, Abbeyfeale, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. Requiem Mass will be live streamed on the following link:www.churchservices.tv/abbeyfealeparish. Funeral afterwards to Reilig Íde Naofa. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to a charity of your choice.
