Bridget (Bridie) Carew (Carey)
(née Fogarty)

Also known as Bridie Carey, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in the Palliative Care, Unit B, Community Hospital of the Assumption Thurles. Predeceased by her husband Milo, brothers and sisters John and Ann in infancy, Mai, Martin, Dan and Mike. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughter Mairead (Murray), sons Pat, Jerry and Donal. son in law Andy, daughters in law Marita, Lucy and Louise, grandchildren Marie, James, Cliodhna, Adam, Mark, Ella, Emma, Megan, Dean, Nicole and Amy, great grandchildren John Milo and Ruth Margaret Hickey, sister Kathleen Hayes (Carhue, Annacarty), brothers Jimmy (Portlaoise), Paddy (Portarlington), sisters in law Mary and Maura (Manchester) nephews, nieces, relatives, many friends and very kind neighbours.

Reposing at O’Dwyers funeral home, Upperchurch (E41 FN34) on Saturday 8th of February from 5pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to St Mary’s Church Drombane. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1pm with burial afterwards in Upperchurch Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Milford Hospice and the Palliative Care, Unit B, Community Hospital of the Assumption.

Bridie's family would like to thank the staff of Palliative Care, Unit B, Hospital of the Assumption, Milford Care Team and community nurses who cared for her during her illness and final days.
