Bridget (Bridie) Connolly (née Jones) of Shankill, Co. Dublin, died peacefully at home on 28th July, 2023, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Bernard, dearly loved mother of Gary, Kieron, Caroline and Mark, adored grandmother of Kris, Karl, Holly, Kim, Kate, Amy and Ben and great-grandmother of Ava, Noah, Kayden, Nova, Erin, Kyle, Frankie, Dara, Conor, Stevie and Mossy. Lovingly remembered by her daughters-in-law Breda and Liz, son-in-law Brian, brother-in-law Maurice, sisters-in-law Rita and Eileen, nieces, nephews, extended family in Ireland Bristol, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday (2nd August) from 4.00pm-6.00pm. Walking from the Gap, Shankill Village on Thursday (3rd August) at 9.45am to St. Anne’s Church, Shankill arriving for a 10.00am Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in Shanganagh Cemetery. The Mass may also be viewed online at churchservices.tv/shankill. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Trócaire.
