Bridget (Bridie) Gorey (nee O’Neill)

Greensbridge, Kilkenny and formerly of Clara and Danesfort.

Bridie, in her 99th year, passed away on 16th December 2023, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Archersrath Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Denis and much loved mother of Pauline (Geoghegan), Breda (Raggett), Richard, Tom, Marianne, Denis, Jacinta (Cindi) (Denieffe), Kieran and David. Bridie will be sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends

Bridie is also predeceased by her sister Molly and brothers Patrick. Bernard, Jack, Michael, Jimmy, Martin, Owen and Tommy.

Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home. John’s Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Monday (18th Dec) from 5pm to 7pm pausing for Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.15pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in St. Canice’s Church, Kilkenny (R95V440). Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Danesfort. (R95NY77).
