Bridget (Bridie) Hughes (née Burke), Lisheen, Arcadia, Athlone, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo, Monday, September 23rd 2019, unexpectedly at the Galway Clinic. Predeceased by her husband Teddy and son Eddie. Beloved mother of Deirdre Brosnan and Sissy Frost. Bridie will be sadly missed by her daughters, sons-in-law Paul and Jim, adored grandchildren Aisling, Ted, Pearse and Grace, brothers Nasie, Mattie and Colm, sisters Winnie, Mary and Ann, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, close friend Angela, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many good friends.

Reposing at her daughter Deirdre's Home, Cluain Ri, Barrymore, Kiltoom, Athlone Co. Roscommon (Eircode N37 W6Y6) on Tuesday evening from 6pm until 9pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Mary's Church, Athlone arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Temple Street Childrens Hospital. House private on Wednesday morning please.
