The death has occurred of

Bridget (Bridie) Kierce nee Lahiff,

Formerly of Quay Road, Clarecastle, Co. Clare.

 

Bridget passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Cahercalla Community Hospital, on the 28/01/2026.

 

Predeceased by her loving husband Paddy, sisters Kathleen, Patricia and Mary. Beloved mother to Laraine (Halpin), Gerry, Philip and Karen (Nestor). Sadly missed by her daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her adored granddaughters Marie, Jane and Jennifier, great-granddaughters Realtin and Roisin, sisters Margaret and Susan, brother Michael, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

 

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at Clarecastle Church, Friday (30th Jan.) from 5:30 pm, concluding with funeral prayers at 7 pm. Funeral Mass to celebrate Bridie’s life will take place Saturday (31st Jan.) at 11 am. Burial afterwards in Clarehill Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in Lieu to Cahercalla Community Hospital, Ennis.
