The death has occurred of
Bridget (Bridie) McCarthy
McCARTHY (Ballygurteen and Clonakilty): on December 28th 2021 peacefully at her residence St. Paul’s Close, Clonakilty. BRIDGET (Bridie) beloved daughter of the late Tim and Hannah McCarthy, dearly loved sister of Sr. Agnes, Annie (McSweeney), Rita (O’Donovan), Eileen (Murray) and the late Denis McCarthy. Sadly missed by her sisters, sister-in-law Monica (McCarthy), brother-in-law, nephews, nieces especially Tadhg, Siobhan, Micheál, Úna, Ciarán, Gearóid, Sinéad and Donncha, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Wednesday, December 29th 2021 from 6pm to 7.30pm with Prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, December 30th 2021 at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty (this will be livestreamed via www.clonakiltyparish.ie/live). Funeral afterwards to Rossmore Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to “Meals on Wheels, Clonakilty” or St. Vincent de Paul, Clonakilty.
