Bridget (Bridie, Oma) Herbert
(née Gaughan)
HERBERT, (née Gaughan), Bridget (Bridie/Oma), February 1st, 2024, Ballyboden, Rathfarnham. Peacefully on St Brigid’s Day, surrounded by her adoring family, in the loving care of the staff of Cairnhill Nursing Home, Herbert Rd, Bray.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late Cyril, and treasured mother of Brian, Gráinne, Niamh, Sid, and Shane. Bridie will be forever loved and cherished in the hearts of her sons and daughters, son-in-law Fergus and daughters-in-law Barb, Ciara and Helen and Oma to her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Mick and Tom, and much-loved by her brother Pat and sisters Mary, Martina and Kathleen and their families, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved Bridie.
May she Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her home this Tuesday evening from 5-7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Ballyboden (D16 W263), arriving for 10.30am Requiem Mass, with burial thereafter to Kilmashogue Cemetery.
