The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridie) Toal (née Connolly), Magherarney, Smithborough, Co. Monaghan, who passed away peacefully in Monaghan Hospital surrounded by her loving family, 6th December 2025.

Predeceased by her husband (Patrick) Paddy, her brothers Eoin, Patrick and Jimmy, and her sister Margaret McAdam.

Bridie will be sadly missed by her son Gerard (Sabine) and daughter Sinéad (Kevin), her sister Kitty Roe, her brother Seán, her cherished grandchildren Sirin, Nives, James and Andrew, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

May Bridie Rest in Peace.

Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Magherarney on Monday evening, 8th December, arriving for 8.00pm.

Bridie’s Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday at 1pm, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
