Bridget Doherty (née O’Malley), Annagh, Belmullet and formerly of Shraigh West, Bunnahowen, Belmullet Co. Mayo suddenly at her residence on 27th February 2026.

Predeceased by her recently deceased husband Seamus, parents John and Mary, brothers Micheál, P.J. and Tony.

Beloved mother of John and Marie. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family, son in law Will and his and Marie’s recently born daughter Saoirse, John’s partner Michelle, sisters Mary Kate, Julia and Eileen, brother John Joe, nephews Michael, John Paul, Gerard and Padraic, sisters in law Bridget Agnes, Maureen, Bridie, Sile and Kathleen, brother in law Phelie, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Bridget will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Saturday evening (14th March) from 4 o'clock until 5.30 with the funeral arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne at 7 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Sunday (15th March) at 12 noon followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.
