Bridget Downer (née Shortt) of Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday 31st December 2019, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness borne with great dignity and good humour. Beloved wife of Gerard, loving mother of Patrick and Noel and adoring Nana of Lia, Adam, Leon, Corey and Todd; sadly missed by her sister Patricia, daughter-in-law Louise, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday (Jan 2) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday (Jan 3) at 10.30am in the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.
