McCarthy Dunmanway, On the 17th of October 2025 unexpectedly, while in the tender care of the wonderful staff at CareChoice Nursing Home, Clonakilty, BRIDGET Nowenview West, formerly of Rosewood, Kilronan East and Aungrum, Drimoleague, Co. Cork.

Dearly missed by her loving children Kieran, Michael, Aisling and Declan, her much-loved grandchildren Lucy, Alex, Michael, Charley, Jessie, Dominik and Filip. Deeply regretted also by her daughter in law Sharon, Kieran's partner Gosia, Aisling's partner John and Declans' partner Grace, Bridget's brother Finbarr, sisters Ann, Mary, Martina and Geraldine, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, her former nursing colleagues and many friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who cared for Bridget with such kindness throughout her long illness, including:
Home Help Carers Margaret Deane and Tina O'Donovan, Dr. Tom O’Donnell and the team at Dunmanway Primary Health Clinic, Dunmanway Hospital Day Care, The “Cuppa Club” at Skibbereen Family Resource Centre, Bantry General Hospital, CareChoice Clonakilty, and Mom’s dear friend Sally Toher.

Predeceased by her parents Dan & Nora O’Shea and brother Michael O’Shea.

Reposing in O'Neill's Funeral Home, Dunmanway

Visitation this Friday evening from 6.00pm to 8.00pm with Prayers at 8pm.

Funeral Mass on this Saturday morning at 11.00am in St. Patrick's Church. Burial afterwards to St. Finbarr's Cemetery.
