Lodge, Drumlion, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Roscommon.
4th May, 1940 – 19th May, 2025.
Passed away, peacefully, in her 86th year, with her family by her side, in the loving care of the staff at Roscommon University Hospital. Predeceased by her parents William and Rose, sister Margaret (Staide) and brother-in-law Finan. Bridgie will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving sister Annie (Brennan, Carrowreagh – House Strictly Private Please), niece Caroline (Austin), relatives, her great neighbours and many friends.
May Bridgie rest in eternal peace.
Reposing at Brady's Funeral Home, Elphin on Wednesday (May 21st) from 5pm to 6.30pm followed by removal to St. Michael's Church, Drumlion, arriving at 7pm (via Lodge). Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11.30am. Bridgie will be laid to rest afterwards in Aughrim Cemetery.
Bridgie was the proud recipient of The Benemerenti Medal, awarded by the Pope Francis in 2019, for 40 years of faithful service, as Sacristan, in Drumlion Church
