Bridgie Redmond

The death has occurred of Bridgie Redmond - Sr. Columba, Franciscan Convent Glasgow, Scotland, formerly of Ballycooke, Tullow, Co. Carlow and South Africa, peacefully on Saturday 27th December 2025.

Bridgie, eldest daughter of Stephen and Bridget Redmond, beloved sister of the late Mick, Willie, Nancy, Rita, Joe, Molly, Brendan, Jane and PJ.

Sadly missed by her sister Claire and her brothers Stephen and Noel. Her nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and the Sisters in the Franciscan Convent in Glasgow and many other extended family and friends.

May Bridgie’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Bridgie’s funeral mass will take place in The Blessed John Dun Scotus Church, Glasgow on Friday 9th January at 10am with burial afterwards.

There will be a memorial mass in The Church of the Assumption, Castledermot at 11am on Sunday, 1st February.
